Moodle is an open-source learning management system that can be used to create online courses and assessments. Educators can create or upload courseware, create course assignments and use many features that enable them to interact with their students. It is also a good platform for students to interact with their peers and their facilitators. There are many Moodle plugins to explore. and a worldwide community of collaborators who contribute to new Moodle features. Moodle can be tricky to set up, but Leading Training can set up and host your Moodle system, and teach you how to create courses. This course is a basic overview of Moodle and its layout and features.

Moodle is a learner management system that provides a learning space for you to design online courses with flexible content and collaborative activities so your students are constantly experiencing feedback.

This course is an introduction to Moodle and covers the basic admin setup and main features of adding users, creating a course, and uploading content.

Pre-Requisites

Strong computer desktop skills are essential. You need to be comfortable with using apps in a web environment.

One needs access to the Internet to practice.

Some experience in teaching or training is a bonus.

Should we not get enough delegates, we will refund or credit your paid booking.

Should you need this course urgently, the following options are available:

  1. Pay for 6 delegates (whether you have them or not) and we will schedule the course as soon as possible.
  2. If you have fewer delegates and cannot pay for 6, we can negotiate a shortened course where some of the time will be spent in blended learning - watching videos and doing tutorials and exercises with some contact time with the trainer. We would want to discuss what your core needs are so that we cover those aspects. You need to have paid for 3 delegates at least.
