Interchangeable Course
This course will give you all the essentials you need to know to get up and running with Laravel. You will learn how to download and install Laravel, how to use Composer to install PHP classes, how to use Artisan (the Laravel command line tool), how to work with Routes, Views, Blade templates, Controllers and Models. It will also show you how to work with Eloquent, the Laravel ORM used to perform SQL queries on Laravel Models.
This course will build onto what was covered on the Laravel Introduction course. We will cover error handling, Working with middleware, CSFR protection, Sessions, Validation, Localization, Pagination, Seeding, Accessors and Mutators, Working with email and Eloquent Relationships.
This course will give you all the essentials to build a basic API using Laravel. The API will work with contacts in a database. You will learn how to create an API to:
- Retrieve all contacts
- Retrieve a specific contact
- Add a new contact
- Delete a contact
- Validate input
- Paginate contacts
- Authenticate the request
