This four-day accredited budgeting course provides a comprehensive understanding of how to plan, allocate, and monitor financial resources within an area of responsibility. Participants learn about key budgeting concepts, methods, and classifications (including line-item, incremental, zero-based, and performance budgeting), while exploring how to construct and apply different types of budgets (production, sales, cash). This course covers the outcomes of unit standard 242810 at NQF level 4 for 6 credits and forms part of the core components for the FETC: Generic Management at NQF level 4.
