About Business and Report Writing
This is designed to help people to compose all written documentation in the current business environment. It enables the student to compose all written documentation. It deals with both content and style. Report Writing is a major skill required in a toughening business environment and this course enable the student to prepare well written and composed reports for many different aspects of business
This two-day workshop will help you teach participants how to:
- Use the five C's of writing
- Ensure their writing meets basic grammatical standards, including word agreement, sentence construction, proper spelling, and punctuation
- Differentiate between the active and passive voice
- Write business letters, reports, memos, and e-mails
Workshop objectives include:
Learn the value of good written communications.
Develop paragraphs that introduce, connect, develop, and conclude some part of an idea.
Prepare reports and proposals that inform, persuade, and provide information.
Learn how to proofread your work so you are confident it is clear, concise, complete, and correct
Provide an opportunity to apply these skills in real work applications.
Instructor Led classroom based training. Scheduled classes are normally held in Woodmead - near to Sandton in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Stationary and textbook included. Refreshments, including 2 tea breaks and a cooked meal for lunch are provided for full time courses. Contact hours are between 9am to 4pm.
