This course covers fundamental IT security concepts, goals, and the ethical behaviours expected of professionals. It provides an in-depth look at network and service security, including the protocols that form the backbone of digital communication. Students will also explore identity management and privacy protection within modern IT environments.

This course covers the content of the LPI Exam 020-100 (Linux Security Essentials version 1.0). This course prepares you to write that exam, but the exam is not included in the course cost. You will learn the essential concepts of IT security.
