Introduction to Statistics is a two-day course for anyone interested in data science, marketing, HR analytics, or science. If you are interested in learning how to measure and apply metrics or in going on to learn data-driven decision-making, this foundation course is for you.

The aim of this course is to provide a firm foundation and understanding of statistics for beginners, equipping learners with knowledge of descriptive statistics, probability and the rules of probability, and inferential statistics.

Session 3 - Central Tendencies

(All for both ungrouped data and grouped data)

  • Calculation of arithmetic means

Session 4 - Probabilities Calculations

  • Probability rules
  • Counting rules

Session 5 - Probability Distributions

Session 6 - Confidence intervals

If you have fewer delegates and cannot pay for 6, we can negotiate a shortened course where some of the time will be spent in blended learning - watching videos and doing tutorials and exercises with some contact time with the trainer. We would want to discuss what your core needs are so that we cover those aspects. You need to have paid for 3 delegates at least.
