Git is a free and open-source distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency. This Git version control system is one of the most widely used tools for version controlling and managing source code in development projects.

This course will teach you how to set up version controlling on a project, how to work with a local repository (including reverting to an older version of your code) how to branch your code into different branches, how to merge one branch of code into another, and how to work with a remote repository to collaborate with other developers. By the end, you'll have mastered Git, Git version control, and best practices in source control version management.
