Details

The Accredited Emotional Intelligence Course is a two-day workshop aligned to SAQA US252031 - Apply the principles and concepts of emotional intelligence to the management of self and others - worth 4 credits at NQF level 5.

This course is geared to enable managers in any economic sector to understand the importance of Emotional Intelligence, its role and impact in life and in the workplace, and enable managers to assess their own level of EQ in order to determine developmental areas. Participants will leave with a better understanding of themselves, and their interaction with those around them, and with a positive attitude on how to progress emotionally.

We have all worked with brilliant people. Some of us have had the good fortune to have been led by brilliant people.  A few important attributes distinguish the best leaders and managers from the worst.  These involve a blend of their excellent business acumen, their integrity, their ability to lead well, and their ability to show that they truly care about the people that they lead.  Great leaders get on with people and are people focused. This Emotional Intelligence attribute - the ability to read people well, respond to them appropriately, and manage your own emotions under stress, can be learned and can be improved.
