This Unit Standard is part of the fundamentals of the Generic Management Qualification ID 59201 at NQF level 5, for 162 credits. This Unit standard addresses Critical Thinking and Decision-Making skills and is intended for managers in all economic sectors. These managers would typically be second-level managers such as heads of department, section heads, or divisional heads, who may have more than one team reporting to them, and who would like to gain critical and analytical skills for decision making.
This course is offered both as virtual Instructor-led and in-classroom training and covers both practical and theoretical components of critical thinking and problem-solving. In this course, you will analyze and explore a problem to make the best decision.

This course will suit leaders, managers, supervisors and mid-level personnel in any business unit who are responsible for leading and managing staff. It would also suit any qualifying learner who would like to earn credits towards a qualification.
