This Unit Standard is intended for managers in all economic sectors. These managers would typically be second-level managers such as heads of department, section heads, or divisional heads, who may have more than one team reporting to them, and who would like to gain the practical skills to develop, implement, and monitor operational plans.
The qualifying learner is capable of:

This course will suit learners in any business unit who are responsible for leading and managing staff. It would also suit any qualifying learner who would like to earn credits towards a qualification.
It is assumed that learners are competent in:

Develop an operation plan for a unit.
Lesson 3
Implement an operational plan.
Lesson 4
Monitor, measure and evaluate the achievement of goals and objectives.
