This Unit Standard is intended for managers in all economic sectors. These managers would typically be second level managers such as heads of department, section heads or divisional heads, who may have more than one team reporting to them.
Learners starting to learn towards this unit standard are proficient in Language, Literacy and Communication, including intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, at NQF level 4.
Lesson 1
Formulate performance standards for team members in a unit.
Lesson 2
Establish systems for monitoring performance.
Lesson 3
Prepare for a performance review of a team member.
Lesson 4
Conduct performance review interview.
